Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs (each 240 g) UNCLE BEN’S® BISTRO EXPRESS® Whole Grain Medley- Garden Vegetable
    1 tbsp (15 mL) sesame oil
    3-4 Fully Cooked Chicken Strips
    1/2 red pepper, finely chopped
    1 tbsp (15 mL) minced ginger
    1 tsp (5 mL) Chinese five spice powder
    1/4 cup (60 mL) water
    1/4 cup (60 mL) low sodium soy sauce
    2 green onions, sliced on the angle
    1 tbsp (15 mL) toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  • Heat sesame oil in large nonstick skillet set over medium-high heat. Stir in rice, chicken, red pepper, ginger and five spice. Cook, stirring for 2 minutes. Stir in water and soy sauce. Cook, stirring for 3 to 5 minutes or until heated through.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.  Serve with sriracha (if using).

Tips

Add some more zing to your meal with a dash of Sriracha sauce!
